Ethel Dorothy GOURLEY

GOURLEY, Ethel Dorothy September 17, 1930 - July 30, 2008 Ethel Gourley passed away peacefully at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre in Claresholm on July 30, 2008 at the age of 77 years. Ethel is survived by her children: Linda Gourley, David (Joanne) Gourley, Brian (Marilyn) Gourley, Carol (Derek) Wallace, Jim (Gywnneth) Gourley and Ted Gourley. Ethel is also survived by her twelve grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren as well as her sisters Edna Corey and Phyllis (Allan) Lonkinger. Ethel married Bob Gourley in 1948 and lived on military bases from 1953 to 1971, living in each province from B.C. to Ontario. Ethel settled in B.C. till 1971 and then moved to Alberta in 1976 where she worked at the Holy Cross Hospital until retiring in 1991. In 2002 she moved to the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre due to illness. A special thank you to all of the nurses, doctors and staff at the Willow Creek Continuing Care Centre.
