HAM, Donald Preston - Don Ham of Fergus and formerly of Meaford passed away in Fergus on Monday, August 11, 2008 at the age of 83. He is survived by his beloved wife Pat (née Nixon) Ham of Fergus and his much loved daughter Tracy and her husband Roger Bedard of Toronto and grandson Roger Jr. A son, Jeffrey Scott, and a granddaughter, Michelle Patricia, predeceased Don. Dear brother of Doug Ham and his wife Dorothy and Bernice Bennett. Predeceased by brothers Emerson, Mervin and Clarence and sisters Merle Caswell, Elsie Clarke and Velda Brooshoof and remembered by her husband Marius ‘Mike' Brooshooft. Also remembered fondly as a dear brother-in-law by the Nixon families and as a special uncle to his many nieces and nephews and their families. Family will receive friends at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 48 Boucher St. E., in Meaford on Thursday afternoon from 2 until 5 p.m. where funeral services, officiated by Reverend Gary Parker, will be conducted on Friday August 15 at 1:30 p.m. Interment and committal services to follow at Lakeview Cemetery.
