KABBES, Trudy (nee Haveman) - Of Drayton went home to be with her Lord on Saturday August 2, 2008 in her 73rd year. Beloved wife of the late Fred Kabbes (1994). Dear mother, grandmother and great grandmother of Margaret and Evert TenBruggencate, Adam, Melissa, David and Sarah all of St. Thomas Ontario; Marian and Homer Lensink, Matthew Lensink and his fiancé Jennifer Heideman, Stephen and Jonathan all of Burlington, Ontario; Bill and Ann Kabbes of R.R. #4 Arthur, Ontario, Daniel Kabbes and his wife Amanda and their son Tyler of Arthur, Andrew and his wife Kimberly of Waterloo, Mark and Paul both of R.R. #4 Arthur, Ontario; Don and Karen Kabbes, Jeffrey and Luke all of Brigden, Ontario; and Dave and Tracy Kabbes, Ally, Kari and Amy all of R.R. #2 Drayton, Ontario. Sister of Helen Wierts of Guelph, Ralph Haveman and his wife Lynn of Elora, Harry Haveman and his wife Susan of Walkerton. Sister-in-law of Gerry and Alice Kabbes of Neustadt, Randy and John Reinders of R.R. #2 Moorefield and Gertie and Ken Hodgson of Durham. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Predeceased by her brother John Haveman, sister-in-law Nancy Haveman-Bishop and brother-in-law Gerry Wierts. The family will receive friends at the Drayton Reformed Church 72 Wellington Street, South Drayton on Tuesday August 5, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Rev. Dirk Kramer will conduct the Funeral Service in the Drayton Reformed Church on Wednesday August 6, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Drayton Cemetery.
