SCHARFE, Carol (nee Hay) It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Carol Scharfe. Peacefully surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 3, 2008 at the age of 72. Dearly beloved wife of Kenneth. Loving mother of Sharon and Rosemary (Stephen Thomas Hardwich). Special grandmother of Savannah Hardwich. Sister of Ruby, Sydney and the late Mansel Hay. Friends are invited to visit at the St. Laurent Chapel of Hulse, Playfair & McGarry, 1200 Ogilvie Road (at Aviation Parkway) on Tuesday, August 5, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral service will be held at the Metropolitan Bible Church (new location: 2176 Prince of Wales Drive) on Wednesday, August 6, at 1 pm. Interment at St. George's Cemetery, Hawthorne. For those wishing, donations may be made to the Gideons International Canada or to the Metropolitan Bible Church - Missions Fund.
