HENDSBEE, Russell Conwell Peacefully at the Ottawa General Hospital, after succumbing to the affects of Alzheimer's on Wednesday, August 6th, 2008. Beloved husband of the late Grace Avril Hendsbee. Loving father of Robert (Angele) of Whitby, and Donald of Ottawa. Cherished grandfather of Michelle (Sean), Stephen (Trisha Lyn), Jonathan, and Douglas. Proud great grandfather of Jordan, Adam and Gillian. Predeceased by his parents, Naaman and Arvilla Hendsbee, sisters Ethel, Marion, Irma, and Norma and brothers Dewey, Gerald, and Laurie of Nova Scotia. Survived by brothers Alvin Hendsbee of Oshawa and Judson Hendsbee of Toronto and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral Service will be held at St. Margaret's Anglican Church, 206 Montreal Rd., Vanier on Wednesday, August 13th, 2008 at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in Russell's memory to the Ottawa Alzheimer's Society or a charity of choice would be appreciated.
