CHANDLER, Irene (nee Houlahan) Peacefully on Friday, August 1, 2008 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. "Bob" Chandler. Dearly loved mother of Jim (Rose) of Fraser, Michigan. Loving grandmother of Holly, Laura, Nick and Jackie. Dear sister of Marge McKenna of Chicago, Terry Chandler of Ottawa, Mary Ann Summers (Kenny) of Ottawa. Predeceased by Helen, Lois, Eddy, Neil, Tony and Roy. Fondly remembered by sisters-in-law Fran, Jo-Anne, Helen and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at McEvoy-Shields Funeral Home, 1411 Hunt Club Road (at Albion Road) on Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Mass on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Augustine's Church. Interment Notre Dame Cemetery. The family wish to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff of Elizabeth Bruyere Health Centre, 5B for their excellent and compassionate care.
