OBITUARY BASIL ALEXANDER HOWSE Passed away peacefully on August 5. Beloved husband to his wife of 61 years, Marjorie; devoted Dad to Joy (David Adley), Eve (Rubin Goldbaum) and Roy (Kathy Munro); proud Grampy to Shelley, Lisa, Sarah, Danny, Tommy, Peter, Allyson, Jessica, Stephanie and Suzanne. Basil will be lovingly remembered by all who knew him for his strength of character, his sense of humour, his love of family and his devotion to Marjorie, the love of his life. He was particularly fond of Jackie Charles and Petula Ross who have cared for him and Marjorie over the past 2 1/2 years with love and kindness, becoming part of his extended family. Nothing made Basil happier than to be surrounded by friends and family for Happy Hour. And so Happy Hour will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillvray White Funeral Homes (514-483-1870) 5610 Sherbrooke St. W. (corner Marcil) Montreal, from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, August 7, 2008. Funeral Services will be held in the Collins Clarke Chapel at 1 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2008.
