SRIGLEY, Gladys Cecelia - Peacefully at Woods Park Care Centre, on Wednesday, August 6, 2008. Gladys Srigley (nee Leroux) in her 95th year. Beloved wife for 43 years of Robert Srigley (Predeceased 1984). Devoted mother of John Srigley and his wife Sandra (Falconi) of Toronto, and Jane Srigley of Barrie. Proud grandmother of Jocelyn, Justin, and Jillian. Mom worked as a nurse during and after WW II. After the arrival of her children she continued to demonstrate her generosity of spirit as a volunteer at both Grove Park Nursing Home and St. Mary's Church. Her volunteerism continued well into her nineties. Mom had a long, healthy and rewarding life. Friends may call at the STECKLEY-GOODERHAM Funeral Home, Clapperton and Worsley Streets, Barrie, on Friday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Parish Prayers will be held on Friday at 8:45 p.m. Funeral Mass from St. Mary's Church, Barrie, on Saturday August 9 at 10:00 a.m. Interment St. Mary's Cemetery, Barrie.
