John Byron MACDONALD

MacDONALD, John Byron - At Welland County General Hospital on Sunday, August 3, 2008 in his 63rd year. Beloved husband of Donna and dear father of Michael and David of Port Colborne; Bill (Tanya) MacDonald and John (Melissa) MacDonald of Prince Albert, Saskatchewan. Grandfather of Tristan, Taylor, Jillian and Scotia. Dear son of Jeanne and the late Byron MacDonald. Survived by brothers Mike and Hugh of Halifax, N.S. and family members Dawn and Dave Murray of Sydney, Australia; Tara Grant and Audra Sterken of Acton, Ontario; Beverley and Ilanna Wise of Ohio. John served in the Royal Canadian Navy and was a member of the United Church of Canada, the Royal Canadian Legion Br.#19, the Orange Lodge, the Northern Yacht Club, North Sydney, N.S. and a life long member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Central United Church, Delhi Street, Port Colborne on Friday, August 8th at 6 p.m. Donations to a charity of one's choice would be appreciated by the family.
