MURPHY, Shirley Marion - Peacefully at the North Bay General Hospital – Scollard Site, on Thursday, August 7th, 2008, she was 62 years old. Loving mother of Marjorie Murphy (Mike Daity) of Barrie, Wesley Murphy (Cindy Sherman) of Corbeil and Grant Murphy of North Bay. Lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Christopher, Amber-Lynn, Tyler, Jessie, Bryer, Brandon, Adrian “Bird“, Nathan and great grandsons Cameron. Dearly loved sister of Charlie Martin and his wife Julie and June Johnson both of North Bay. Predeceased by Larry Murphy and by her brother Howard Martin. Remembered by her daughter in law Lesley Clarke of North Bay and by her friends Bill & Hazel Mainer of North Bay, Brent James and Cindi Sheritt of Sudbury. Visitation will be held in the MARTYN FUNERAL HOME on Tuesday from 7-9:00 PM. A Memorial Service will be held in the Funeral Home Chapel on Wednesday, August 13th at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes in the family plot at Terrace Lawn Cemetery will follow. If desired, donations to the Warriors of Hope or the North Bay General Hospital Building Foundation will be gratefully acknowledged as expressions of sympathy.
