William MATTHEWSON

MATTHEWSON, William (Bill) 1948-2008. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on August 1, 2008 after a courageous battle with cancer. Beloved son of the late Thomas and Ursula, dear brother of the late Tom. He will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his sister, Lyn (the late Peter Lombardi) and his nephews, Kenny (Marie-Anne) and Alain as well as his niece, Lisa (Richard). He will forever be in the hearts of his great niece and nephews, Amanda, Christopher, Matthew, Brendan and Ryan. He will be fondly remembered by his many close friends. Special thanks to the West Island Palliative Care Residence for their care and compassion. The family will receive condolences at the Rideau Memorial Gardens, 4239 Sources Blvd., Dollard-des-Ormeaux, (514) 685-3344. Visitation August 1, 2008 from 7 to 10 p.m. and August 2, 2008 starting at 10 a.m. followed by the funeral service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the West Island Palliative Care Residence.
