Eileen F. MCLAUGHLIN

SMITH, Eileen F. (nee McLaughlin). The Lord called on Eileen on July 30, 2008. Beloved wife of the late Major Allan F. Smith. Loving mother of Dave and cherished grandmother of David. She will be missed by her loving niece Shirley Garami, her brothers-in-law, her nieces and nephews, and all her friends from Morin Heights, Westmount and Lachine. Eileen served overseas as a nurse for the armed forces in WWII where she met Al and married overseas. She also was the co-founder of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Quebec and Canada. A truly remarkable loving caring woman. Visitation at the Rideau Funeral Home, 4275 Sources Blvd., D.D.O. 514-685-3344, on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 from 1:30 to 2 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2 p.m. in the Rideau Chapel.
