MITCHELL, Alexander - At the Cornwall Community Hospital - McConnell Site on Wednesday, August 13, 2008. Alexander (Sandy) Graham Mitchell of 831 Gloucester Street North; age 61 years. Beloved companion of Karen Brodeur. Dear father of Thomas Merriman of Montreal, Linda Prieur (Cecil) of Lunenburg, Nancy Belanger (Mike),Donna Ladouceur (Mike) and Amanda Brodeur (Jordan Coleman) all of Cornwall. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Dear son of the late George Percy and the late Mabel Nellis. Dear brother of Beverly McClennan (Donald) of Montreal, William (Bill) Mitchell (Myrna), Floyd Mitchell (Gail) both of Cornwall, Kathleen Davies (Brian) of Cambridge, ON., Patricia Mitchell and Gordon Mitchell (Darla) also of Cornwall. Predeceased by one sister, Jo-Ann Carol Mitchell. Will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Resting at LAHAIE & SULLIVAN CORNWALL FUNERAL HOMES, East Branch, 614 First Street East (613-933-2841) from 1 p.m., Saturday. Funeral Saturday, August 16, 2008 for Service in the Memorial Chapel of the Funeral at 3 p.m., followed by cremation. The family will be in attendance from 1 p.m., until time of Funeral on Saturday.
