MOUNTFORD, Llewellyn Lew. It is with great sadness that Mountford family announces the passing of their beloved father and grandfather, Llewellyn Lew Mountford age eighty-two on Friday August 1, 2008, at the Victoria General Hospital in Halifax Nova Scotia with his sons at his side. Pre-deceased by his loving wife Peggy, Lew will be sadly missed by his children Christine Rimmer, Richard, Paul and Patrick Mountford, his grandchildren, his extended family in the UK, the members of Legion Branch 45, and his many friends. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Montreal Institute for the Blind can be made in the name of Lew Mountford. A celebration of his life will be held Friday August 8, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 94 205 Empire St, Greenfield Park.
