James Ellison MURRAY

MURRAY, James Ellison - Sadly in Penticton , B.C. on August 10, 2008 after a short battle with cancer in his 66th year. Born August 25, 1942 in St. Catharines, Ontario he grew up in Port Robinson. In 1976 he moved with his family to Stewart BC. These were the happy years for Jim, he was a founding member of the Stewart Yacht Club, loved fishing and was very involved with minor baseball, hockey and various community activities. Jim loved golf, his family and friends. He is survived by his mother Phyllis Murray; his wife of 46 years, Barbara Murray(Shantry); sister Sally and husband Pat; brother Scott and wife Debbie; daughter Lynne Barker and husband Lorne; son Jeff Murray and wife Tina Wiley; daughter Leigh Murray and husband Dennis Pisiak; grandchildren, Krystine, Matthew and wife Tara, Adam and wife Kim, Jessica and Chyanne, Courtney, Ryan, Nicholas, Justin, Andrea, Devin, Shaun, Kaitlyn, Jordan, Megan and Tyler; great grandchild Tyler; his dog MacGyver and numerous extended family members. Jim was predeceased by his twin brother Jerry and his father Raymond. No Service by request. Cremation.
