PICKETT, James 'Jimmie' - Passed away peacefully on Friday August 1, 2008 at St. Mary's of the Lake Hospital. Survived by his brother Dick and sister Carmel (Neil) Smith. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Michael Pickett, brother Patrick and sisters Joan and Rita. Also survived by his sisters- in-law Mary Pickett and Anne Whelan, brothers-in-law Maurice Fodey and Arthur Lawless. Sadly missed by several nieces and nephews. A private Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Kingston. Rite of Committal with prayers at St. Philomena's Cemetery, Howe Island, Ontario on Wednesday August 6, 2008 at approximately 12:30 PM. A sincere heartfelt thanks is extended to the Staff on 3 South of St. Mary's of the Lake for all the love and excellent care given to Jimmie for 32 years.
