POIRIER, Nora Catherine - Peacefully at Forest Hill Nursing Home, Ottawa on Thursday, July 31st, 2008 in her 88th year. Nora Catherine Poirier (nee Poupore) formerly of Pembroke, beloved wife of the late John Poirier. Loving sister of Father James G. Poupore of Rochester, NY, USA, Isabel Lance of Pembroke and Carolyn Haramis of Richmond Hill. Dear sister-in-law of Rita Clouthier and Dorothy Ann Poole. Predeceased by parents Edward and Catherine “Katie” Poupore (nee Malloy), by brother Gregory Poole (Poupore), and by brother-in-law Edward Lance. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Columbkille's Cathedral, Pembroke on Saturday, August 2nd, 2008 at 11 a.m. Interment St. Columba's Cemetery, Pembroke.
