Jeffrey Harold Smith Posted 2 hours ago Jeff died of leukemia on Wednesday, July 30, 2008, in his 49th year. He leaves his cherished wife Elizabeth and his three precious children Evan, Curtis and Nora. He is also survived by his mother Helen (Aljoe) Smith; siblings Jennifer, Janice (late Joe) Colby, and Joel (Judy Sutherland); mother-in-law Barbara (late Deric) Johnson; Richard (Julie) Johnson, and Pauline (Mike) LaRoy, along with eight nieces and nephews. Jeff is survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jeff grew up in Durham and had many happy memories of that time. He was a graduate of Ryerson in Engineering. Jeff's family would like to thank all of his many friends and family for their kindness, thoughtfulness and expressions of sympathy. A special thank you to Barbara Johnson for all her love and support. As per Jeff's wishes, a private memorial service has been held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Guelph.
