SPRY, Robert Allan “Bob“ - Peacefully with his family and friends by his side at the Northumberland Hills Hospital in Cobourg on Friday, August 1st, 2008, Bob Spry at 59 years of age. Loving and beloved husband of Jackie Spry (nee Reyns). Cherished and supportive father of Katrina and Kari. Son of the late Robert and Tabitha Spry. Dearly loved brother of Bertha (the late Bill), Murray (Jean), Norman (Carol), Cliff (Bonnie), Shirley (the late Walter) and predeceased by brothers Walter and Gordon. Son in law of William and Cora Reyns. Brother in law of John (Heather), Maria (Ken), Annie, Leo (Laurie), Andre (Anne), Frank, predeceased Garry (Cindy) and Ronnie (Terri). Also missed by all his nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and many friends. He was one of GMs most valued, dedicated, hard working employees 'a trucker for life'. He had a great deal of love, passion and devotion for horses in standard bred racing. He always possessed a tremendous sense of humour and positive attitude. A funeral service will be held at St. Peters Church (corner of College St. and King St. E in Cobourg) on Tuesday, August 5th at 2pm. Interment to follow at the Heritage Cemetery of St. Peters. Visitation to be held at MacCOUBREY FUNERAL HOME, 30 King St. E in Cobourg on Monday, August 4th, from 2-4pm and 7- 9pm. Those wishing may make a memorial contribution by cheque to the A.L.S society.
