Marilyn BOYKO

QUAID, (nee Boyko) Marilyn, Bonnie 2008-08-14 It is with great sadness that the family announces the sudden and unexpected passing of Marilyn Quaid, age 61 of St Thomas, ON. on Friday 8 August 2008. Marilyn was born in Port Arthur ON June 8, 1947. Predeceased by her parents John and Mary Boyko (nee Gashensky) and brother John. Marilyn is survived by her husband and best friend Jim, daughters Shannan Harman grandchildren Cassie and Rydge of St Thomas, daughter Dawn Harman and grandchildren Joshua, Logan and Tori of Thunder Bay. Sister Janet (Brian) Waller of Blenheim ON. Stepdaughters Kelly Elliott of Thunder Bay and Kim Auestad of Beaverton ON, grandchildren Amber, Hailey, Allyson and Arielle Fegan. Lifelong friends Dolly Harrison, Barb Bousquet, and Doug Harman. Marilyn was a very warm, and giving person who always thought of others first. Her greatest joys were spending time with her grandchildren and swimming in her pool with friends and family. She is loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. In keeping with her wishes Marilyn was bequeathed to the University of Western Ontario Medical School as her final contribution to society. If friends so desire, memorial donations to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or charity of choice would be greatly appreciated.
