Elva Etta MCMAHON

STONE, Elva Etta (nee McMahon) - Peacefully at home at Rice Lake on Monday, August 18, 2008 in her 90th year. Loving mother of John Stone (Jan) of Mississauga, William “Bill“ Stone of Bailieboro and daughter-in-law Carmel McStone of Moncton NB. Predeceased by her sons Jim and Jerry and her four brothers, Ken, Nelson, Vertle, Merle and sister Helen Dunham. Proud grandmother of Carey, Melanie, Bob, Grant and Derek and great-grandmother of Zachary, Sadie and Josephine. Elva will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, neighbours and many friends. Her quick wit, cheerful poetic nature and zest for life will echo forever. Her gracious presence will be with us always. A Memorial Service will be held at Emmanuel United Church, Bailieboro on Friday, August 22, 2008 at 4:00 p.m., with visitation one hour prior to the service.
