VANDYK, Tony - Peacefully at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Friday August 22, 2008 at the age of 84. Tony, beloved husband of Katie for 58 years. Loving father of Elsie Ferguson (Jack), Annie Stovell (Wayne), Rietta Pithie (George), and Rose Blackie (Dave). Dear Opa of Tracy, Lisa, Tyler, Jason, Jeremy, Brian, Kyla, and Jake. Great-Opa of Ava and Matthew. Eldest brother of Mia, the late Nelly, Jan, the late Martien, Cor, Joke and Peter. The family will receive friends at the W.C. TOWN FUNERAL CHAPEL, 110 Dundas Street East, Whitby (905-668-3410) from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm Sunday. Prayers on Sunday evening at 7:30 pm. Mass of the Christian Burial will be held at St. John the Evangelist Church (903 Giffard Street, Whitby) on Monday August 25, 2008 at 11 am.
