PELLAND, Rolland Joseph - Passed away at Sudbury Regional Hospital, Memorial Site, Tuesday, August 19, 2008 at the age of 68. Rolland Pelland was the loved father of Carol Nieman (Chris) and Danny (Tammy). He will be lovingly remembered by his grandchildren, Josh, Brittany and Brianne and Jordan and Bradley. Dear brother of Homer (Marg) and Maurice (Cécile) and his niece Dixie Gagné (Jack). Rolland will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by his family, nieces, nephews and many friends. He was a heavy equipment operator for GAP Construction. Predeceased by his parents, Angelina (née Groulx) and Euclid Pelland , sisters Pauline Degagne (Rene), Flora Lanouette (Joe), Laurette Pelland and brothers Orville and Peter Pelland. Family and friends may pay their respects at MCGUINTY FUNERAL HOME, today from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral service will be celebrated at McGuinty Funeral Home, Friday at 11a.m. Cremation at Forest Lawn Crematorium. Interment of cremated remains at Callander Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation would be gratefully appreciated by the family.
