ROSS, George Francis - passed away peacefully at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie on Sunday, August 17th, in his 79th year. George of Barrie, a 36 year employee of Maclean-Hunter, served with pride in the Royal Air force in Britain for 6 years. Beloved husband of Jean Ross (nee Burke), father to Geoff (Darlene), Carol (Bob), Colin (Tracey). Grandfather to Kiefer, Shawn and Lindsay. Papa to Tyler and Courtney. George will be missed by all who shared in his life. A family service will be held at STECKLEY-GOODERHAM FUNERAL HOME 201 Minet's Point Road Barrie Tuesday August 19th at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to the Alzheimer's or the Canadian Cancer Societies in George's memory. The family would like to thank Dr. Murdoch for his wonderful care over many years. Thanks goes also to Dr. Ney and the nurses and staff on 4 north C at RVH, especially Denise.
