FRUCI, Bruno - After a courageous battle with cancer, Bruno passed away at the Greater Niagara General Hospital, with his family at his side, on August 18, 2008 in his 56th year. Survived by his loving and devoted wife of 32 years Doreen (Walker) Fruci, proud father of Frank (Alix), Jeremy (Andrea), proud “Papa” to Nicholas and Victoria Fruci. Beloved brother of Ross (Mary) Fruci, brother-in-law to Barbara and the late Bob Monrad (2005) and Dawn Mackenzie and predeceased by his parents Frank (1980), Maria (1974) Fruci, brothers, Albert (1970) Fruci and Frank Jr. (1978) Fruci and in-laws, Ernest (1997) and Harriet (1990) Walker. Uncle to Maria (Tom) Reid, Patricia (Pete) Kostyk, Albert Fruci, Kathleen (Duane) Wilson, Kristine (Mike) Adams, Kerri Kelley, Karoline Monrad, Alex and Brittany Mackenzie. Great nieces and nephews Ashley and Allison Kostyk, Kaitlin and D.J. Wilson, Garrett and Jake Adams, Stephen and Nicole Kelley, Emily and Nathan Dennis. Survived by cousins, aunts and uncles in Niagara Falls, Michigan and Italy. Bruno's family will receive friends at the MORSE & SON CHAPEL of the MORGAN FUNERAL HOMES, 5917 Main Street, on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Vigil will be held at the funeral home on Thursday afternoon at 3:00 pm. Funeral mass will be celebrated at St. Thomas More Church on Friday morning at 10:30.
