BANFIELD, Susan - It is with deep sorrow the family announces Susan's passing Thursday, August 14th, 2008 at the Sudbury Regional Hospital-Laurentian Site. Loving daughter of the late George and Clara Kohls and the late Philip and Annie Kasobuski. Beloved wife of Herbert Banfield (predeceased). Loving mother of Brian (wife Darlene) of Calgary, David (wife Sharon) of Sudbury and Gregory of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Joshua, Jordan, Samuel, Nicholas and Kaden. Dear sister of Monica Nieman (Enard) and Raymond Kasobuski (Rita) of Pembroke, Benjamin Kasobuski (late wife Stella) of Kitchener and Ambrose Kasobuski (Irene) of Gowganda. Predeceased by brothers Fred Kohls (wife Isabelle) and Henry Kohls (wife Frances) of Pembroke, Florence Pletz (late husband Bernard) and Theresa Zmija (Emil) of Kitchener. Many thanks to the wonderful nurses on the 4th floor of Laurentian Site and to Dr. Paul Gibb for their kindness and compassionate care given to Mom in her final days. Mom's life revolved around her children and her family. At Susan's request there will be no visitation and no funeral. A private family graveside service will be held.
