PETERSON, (née SCAMMELL) Hayley Elizabeth BA, FCIM, CIM, ACIS December 2, 1965 - August 29, 2008 In the arms of her loving husband, Hayley passed away peacefully on Friday, August 29, 2008 at North York General Hospital, Toronto. Adoring husband and soul mate Ronnie; they were the loves of each others' lives. Kind stepmother of Michael, Joshua and their families. Beloved daughter of Zoë Porter (nee Bles), and Douglas Raymond Scammell (Loreen); and grand-daughter of Anne McCulloch. Predeceased by her stepfather, Thomas Leslie Porter. Cherished sister of Timothy Richard Scammell (Cheryl), Christine Lee (David), Kim Porter-Wood (Andy), Tracey Porter-Romeo (Rocco). Proud and loving auntie to Tyler and Braydon. Also loved by her father-in-law Anthony (predeceased), mother-in-law Katherine, and brother-in-law Gary. Special and heartfelt thanks to all those who supported Hayley, especially Dr. Mary Tweeddale, Dr. Millie Paubst, Joanne, Jana, Sharon, Joy and Paula for their compassionate care. Hayley had a successful career in management with IBM Canada Ltd, and previously with Kilborn Engineering. Her professional memberships included The Canadian Institute of Management, and The Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators. She touched the lives of many people, both professionally and personally and will be forever missed. In keeping with Hayley's generous spirit and love of life, donations to The Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated.
