She graduated from St. Mary’s College QC High School in 1977. Together with her family, she moved to Canada in 1980s and spent most of her working life in Toronto. She recently received her 20 years service award from Canada Post. Weng was diagnosed with cancer five years ago. But that did not stop her to live her life the way she wanted it to be, full of adventure and good spirits, surrounded by family and friends. She was fearless and uncompromising. She stood tall, exhibiting courage and calm in the face of adversity. Her inner strength made us all believed that everything was okay. Even when the road was getting rough, she managed to hop in and enjoyed the ride. We will sadly miss her…her bright shirts, her conspicuous baseball caps, her tidy running shoes, her love for shopping, her generosity, her friendship, her devotion to family and friends, and lastly, her candid smile, her “cheekbones”, that become prominent whenever she feels good and happy. “Peace be Thine” our beloved daughter and sister.
