Juanita Janice POIRIER

Poirier, Juanita Janice July 28, 1913 - June 15, 2008 Nita passed away peacefully early Sunday morning with family members by her side, at the age of 94. She is survived by sons Laurie (Roberta), Brian (Debbie) and Ray(Sue); daughters Joan and Gale (Peter); 14 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren. Nita had a great passion for golfing, starting at the age of 65. She enjoyed trips to Reno, Hawaii with friends and many trips back to Nova Scotia to visit her daughter, Gale. Nita lived in Sooke for 40 years and then moved to Heritage Woods at the age of 93. She will be sadly missed by her family, extended family and many friends. A special thanks to Heritage Woods -Arbutus Cottage staff for their great care and support. Funeral Service will be held at Sands Funeral Chapel, 317 Goldstream Avenue, Victoria, BC on Thursday, June 19, 2008 at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sooke Harbour Cemetery.
