Arnold Douglas McWilliam 1919 - 2008 Arnold D. McWilliam, 88, of Allison, NB passed away Saturday, September 6, 2008 at the Moncton Hospital. Born December 16, 1919, at Ford's Mills, Kent Co. he was the son of the late Fred and Jennie (Cail) McWilliam. He was a retired Dairy Farmer and was active in Farm Organizations. He was a past director of Co-op Farm Services, past Elder and choir member of Steeves Memorial United Church, and former member of Greater Moncton Town Planning Commission. He was a past member of Charlie's Angels Round Dance Club, member of the NB Antique Car Club and Citation Trailer Club. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 64 years, Margaret (Thompson), his daughter, Marilyn (Al), of Allison, and two grandsons, Michael (Raina) of Hamilton, ON and Andrew of Moncton, brothers, Tom (Freda) of Ford's Mills, Jim (Myrtle) of Rexton, Ron (Audrey) of Moncton and sister Edna Douglas of New Glasgow, NS. He was predeceased by one son Wayne. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Fair Haven Funeral Home, 1177 Salisbury Road, Moncton (506) 852-3530 from 7 to 9 PM. A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, September 10, 2008 from Fair Haven Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM followed by a reception in the Garden View Reception Room. Interment in Fair Haven Memorial Gardens. Memorial donations may be made to The Friends of The Moncton Hospital, the General Fund of the Steeves Memorial United Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
