Jeannette Marie SIMPSON

Simpson, Jeannette Marie October 27, 1922 - June 16, 2008 Peacefully, on June 16, 2008 at Victoria Gardens Long Term Care, in her 86th year. Jeannette is now reunited with her beloved husband of 60 years, Edwin Simpson. Loving mother of Gary and Linda, Ricky and Sheran, Irene and Mike Cook and Laura and Stan Raine. Proud grandma and great-grandma of many. She will also be sadly missed by many family and friends. She was known for her sweet tooth, her love of solitaire, horse racing and the Blue Jays. She will be remembered as a devoted mother and her passion for music and dance. Visitation will be held at the L.G. WALLACE FUNERAL HOME, 151 Ottawa Street North (905-544-1147) on Thursday, June 19 from 5 - 6 with a service to follow at 6 p.m. in the chapel. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. Special thanks to the staff at Victoria Gardens.
