Florinda CHIARELLO

CHIARELLO, Florinda 2008-09-06 Florinda Chiarello, age 81, a resident of Thunder Bay, Ontario died peacefully in Hamilton General Hospital on Sept. 2, 2008. Born in Montecorice, Salerno she moved to Canada in 1986. She was very dedicated to her family and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Florinda was the dear mother-in-law of Tita Scaffeo, cherished grandmother of: Sandra (Joe) Sgambelluri, Sue (Tom) Mollicola, Steve (Rosanna) Scaffeo, and Anthony Scaffeo (Carla Fazio); and loving great grandmother to: Josef, Daniela, Alyssa, Francesco, Antonio and Giuliana. She is also survived by numerous sisters in Italy. She was predeceased by her loving son Antonio (1996) parents Madelina and Giovanni Chiarello, as well sisters Filomena, Assunta and Angelina. Funeral Services will be held on Monday September 8, 2008 when family and friends will gather in St. Domenic’s R.C. Church for the Funeral Mass beginning at 10:00 a.m. celebrated by Rev. Dan Lapolla. Entombment will follow in the Our Lady of Charity Mausoleum of St. Andrew’s Cemetery. Visitation for friends will be held on Sunday from 5-7 p.m. in St. Domenic’s R.C. Church where the Vigil Service will begin at 6:00 p.m. Funeral arrangements in care of the Sargent & Son Funeral Directors, 21 N. Court Street.
