CAIRNS, Shirley Irene (Farr) - The family announces the passing of Shirley on September 1, 2008 in her 80th year. Loving mother of Rob (Judy), Terry, Rick (Lou- Anne), Cheryl (Mike Wakulich), Laurie (Jay) Cookson. Proud grandmother of Melody, Jill, Robynn, Seth, Tess, Nash and Owen. Predeceased by her husband and best friend Bob (2000). Survived by sisters Norma (Bob) Cameron, Ruth (Claude) Ames, Joan MacKenzie-Milne, Lois (John) Golob, Eleanor Reid and brother Doug (Liz) Farr, sisters and brothers in law Jim Cairns, Marg Cairns, Louisa Anderson, Tom Cook, Mary Farr and Fred Wherry. Predeceased by parents M.I. and Nellie Farr and sisters Jean Myers, Helen Davidson, Doris Wherry and brothers Raymond, Clifford and Larry Farr. Shirley was known for her beautiful gardens on Park Ave in Merritton for which she and Bob received a Trillium award in 1996. Cremation has taken place.
