PHILLIPS, William (Bill) Frederick (Retired from Government Services, Former OPSEU Steward, OPP Auxillary Orillia, Member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34, Orillia, Royal Regiment of Canada and Orillia 6th Division Flyers)(Hobby Aircraft) Passed away at the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital on Sunday, August 24, 2008; in his 74th year. Bill, beloved husband of Jean (nee: Newell). Much loved father of Lorrie (Glenn) Forsythe, Lynn McCarthy (Partner Terry) and Kathy (John) Jacobs. Loved (grandfather) Bo of Ryan, Cameron, Wendel, Owen and Danielle. Dear brother of Syd, Rose and the late Jim. Loved brother-in-law of Norma Lee and Sandy Phillips. Loved nephew and friend of Johnny and Helen Smart. Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends at the Mundell Funeral Home, 79 West St. N., Orillia on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. David's Anglican Church, 133 James St., Orillia on Thursday, August 28, 2008 at 11 o'clock a.m. Graveside interment service to follow reception at St. Luke's Anglican Cemetery, Hamlet. If desired, memorial donations to the Orillia Soldiers' Memorial Hospital, Soldier's 1 or to the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch #34 Orillia would be gratefully appreciated.
