ARGHITTU, Antonio - Sassari Sardegna, Italy. Antonio was born in Nughedu San Nicolo, Sardegna Italy on October 14, 1925. On Saturday August 23, 2008 Antonio passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family in Sassari, Sardegna Italy at the age of 83. Dear husband of Maria Dettori, and cherished father and father in law of Salvatore & Luisella, Giovanna & Salvatore, Francesco & Vanna, Giuseppina & Giuseppe, Mario & Franca, Piero, Nino & Maria Rosaria. He will be greatly missed by his many grandchildren, nieces and nephews, extended family and dear friends. Antonio is predeceased by his mother Peppica Pedde and his father, GiovanniMaria Arghittu, his brothers, Giovanni, Mario, Emilio and Salvatore Arghittu. Antonio is survived by his brothers Cosimo Arghittu (Angelina Arghittu) of Nughedu San Nicolo, and Pietro Arghittu (Maria Arghittu) of St. Catharines. Also missed by his sister in law Vincenza Arghittu wife of the late Salvatore Arghittu, and Giovanna Arghittu, wife of the late Emilio Arghittu. Antonio will also be sadly missed by nieces, nephews and their families living in St. Catharines, Josie (Arghittu) & Raffi Atmekjian and family, GianFranco Arghittu & Jen Macri, Mario & Joanne Arghittu & family, Paul and Nancy Arghittu, Carlo & Marlene Arghitttu & family, Giovanna (Arghittu) & Luciano Conversano & family. A mass will be held for Antonio on Thursday August 28, 2008 at 7:00 p.m. St. Alfred's Church, Vine St. in St. Catharines. 11216423
