JAMIESON, Doreen Ruby (Née Vaughan) - In Toronto on Monday, August 25, 2008. The former Doreen Vaughan, daughter of the late John and Lois Sylvia (née Hall) Vaughan, in her 85th year. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Albert ‘Slim' Jamieson, on May 2, 1997. Loved mother of Marlene Jamieson of Toronto. Dear sister of Hazel (late Marven) Kitchen of Meaford, Violet (late Ron) Savage of Sault Ste. Marie, Phyllis (Mrs. Lawrence Armstrong) of Owen Sound, Reta (Mrs. Joseph ‘Dez' Desjardin) of Angus, and Ethel Jacob (late Harry Keating and late Donald Jacob) of Owen Sound. Predeceased by a sister Florence Bagger of British Columbia, and brothers Murray Vaughan of Meaford, and Stan Vaughan of St. Vincent Township. Survived by a brother-in-law Paul Bagger of British Columbia, and sister-in-law Joan Vaughan of St.Vincent Township. Fondly remembered by several nieces and nephews and their families. Family will receive friends at the FERGUSON FUNERAL HOME, 48 Boucher St. E., in Meaford on Thursday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. Funeral services, officiated by Rev. Dr. Brian Goodings, will be conducted at the funeral home on Friday, August 29 at 11 o'clock with visiting the hour prior to service and interment to follow at Lakeview Cemetery, Meaford.
