EMERSON, Dianne Delores (Gignac) - On Wednesday, August 27, 2008 at the St. Catharines General Hospital in her 66th year. Loving wife of Eldon Emerson and devoted mother of Darlene Emerson of London, Sharon Prediger and husband Dennis and Brenda Honey and husband Charlie all of St. Catharines. Dear Grandmother of Amber, Cameron, Alisha and Laura. Dianne will be missed by her brothers, Roger and wife Claire of Sudbury, Victor Gignac of Red Lake, Dave Gignac of St. Catharines and her sister-in-law Maria Gignac also of St. Catharines. Dianne will be deeply missed by her niece and nephews. Predeceased by her sister-in-law Marie Gignac. Dianne was actively involved with the St. Catharines Girl Guides, 3rd Brownie Pack for over 30 years. She was also a member of Woman of the Moose Lodge for over 25 years and was an active member of West St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Family will receive friends at the PATRICK J. DARTE FUNERAL CHAPEL, 39 Court Street (at King) on Saturday from 7 - 9 p.m. A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, August 31, 2008 in the Darte Chapel at 2 p.m. The family would appreciate memorial contributions to the West St. Andrews Presbyterian Church or the Canadian Diabetes Association.
