SHEAHAN, Emeline (Coghlan) (Life member of the Catholic Womens' League, St. John Apostle Church) - It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Emeline Sheahan, with her loving family by her side, on Saturday, August 30, 2008 at the age of 85 years. Beloved wife of Doug Sheahan of 62 years. Loving mother of Kathy Reid (Dwight), Connie Lepage, Dianne Thain (Bob) and Darlene Armer (Dave). Predeceased by her father: James Coghlan, her mother Margaret Ellen O'Grady, infant children Joseph Sheahan, Mary Sheahan and son-in-law Ron Steacy. Emeline will continue to be treasured by her grandchildren Suzie, Ron, Doug, Nicole, Christopher, Jesse, and Caitlin, as well as her great-grandchild Tyler. Dearest sister of Bill, Jim, Dan, Roddy, Michael, Pat, John, Anna, Bea, Margaret and Katie. She will be missed by her many nieces and nephews and their families. Friends will be received at the Central Chapel of GORDON F. TOMPKINS FUNERAL HOMES, 49 Colborne Street (at Clergy St.) on Tuesday, September 2, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial in the Church of St. John the Apostle, Patrick Street, on Wednesday, September 3 at 10:00 a.m. Rite of Committal with prayers in St. Andrew's Parish Cemetery, Killaloe.
