CHINNERY, Deborah Joyce (nee Cross) - Courageously on Saturday, September 13, 2008 at the Kingston General Hospital, after a determined fight against breast cancer, at the age of 50. Beloved wife of 28 years to Steven and cherished mother of Allison and Amanda. Sadly missed by her father Jim and mother-in-law Eileen. Dear sister of Ian (Terri) and sister-in-law to Michael (Lin) and Kathleen (Stephen). Loving aunt of Matthew and Lisa as well as Matthew, Andrew and Jennifer, along with their mother Janice. Predeceased by her mother Joan and father-in-law Mason. A heartfelt thanks to all of her friends and neighbours for their care and compassion during Deb's battle, with a special thanks to the wonderful staff at the Cancer Centre at KGH. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME, Cataraqui Chapel (1900 John Counter Boulevard) on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 from 6-9 p.m. Cremation to follow. In keeping with the family's wishes, a private service will be held. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (Cancer Centre of SE Ontario at KGH) would be appreciated by the family.
