MACHENDAGOOS, Eva - In loving memory of Eva Machendagoos (nee Matinet), 59 years, who passed away at the Sudbury Regional Hospital, St. Joseph's Health Centre, on Friday, September 12th, 2008. Loving mother of Benjamin of Sudbury, Cynthia (Richard Welsh) of Yukon, Stephanie of Sudbury, Paul of Espanola, Michelle (Mike Allen) of Peterborough, and Matthew (Julia) of Sudbury. Cherished grandmother of Krystina, Kenneth, Joshua, Jennifer, Kyle, Kayla, Jessica, Jonathan, Krystal, Karl, Kraig, Kalvin, Katrina, Jordan and one on the way. Dear sister of Bridget of Thunder Bay, Mary of Sudbury, Veronica, Ernest and James, all of Armstrong, and the late Alice (predeceased). Also survived by her former husband Ben Sr. of Sudbury and by many nieces and nephews. Eva was born in Mud River, Ontario on June 1st, 1949, daughter of Michel and Edith (both predeceased). She had been a resident of Sudbury since the mid 1970's. Resting at the JACKSON AND BARNARD FUNERAL HOME, 233 Larch St., Sudbury where friends may call on Wednesday, September 17th, 2008 from 2-5 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. only. Thence to be transferred to the Whitesand First Nation in Armstrong, Ontario for visitation, service and burial. Donations to the Northern Cancer Research Foundation would be greatly appreciated.
