SPOONER, Mr. Robert (Bob) - Born in Sheffield, England, January 14, 1939. Passed away at the Lady Dunn Health Centre, Wawa, on Sunday, September 7, 2008, at the age of 69 years. Robert, beloved son of the late Jack & Ella Spooner. Dear brother of Keith Spooner of Sheffield, England. Loving father of Craig Spooner, Glyn Spooner (Diane), Andrew Spooner (Barbara), and special father in law of Renee Spooner. Loving grandfather of Devon, Tyrel, Brayden, Heather, and Hayli. Robert came to Wawa, Ontario, Canada, in July, 1967 to join his aunt Pat and uncle Fred Blair, with his wife Dorothy and three sons. A Memorial Service will be held at the GILMARTIN FUNERAL HOME, 140 Churchill Ave., Wawa, on Thursday afternoon, September 11, 2008, at 2:00 p.m. with the Rev. Bonnie Rayner officiating.
