NEILL, Mr. John Howard - at the Welland Hospital, on Monday September 8, 2008. Howie Neill of Port Robinson, in his 84th year. Beloved husband of the late Mary L. Neill (January 2000). Loving father of Debbie Neill of Crystal Beach, Carlin Barwell of Welland, Ron (Anna) Neill of Niagara Falls and Katherine Neill of Port Robinson. He will be sadly missed by his three grandsons Daniel, Dwayne and Scott. Dear brother of Mary (Jack) Hill of Welland and predeceased by his brother Don Neill. Howie was a very special friend of Dodie Pepper of Crystal Beach. Howie was a World War Two Veteran and an active member of the Port Robinson Volunteer Fire Department and the Port Robinson Myrtle Masonic Lodge #337 A.F. & A.M. Special thanks to Dr. Mukesh Khandelwal and the nurses and staff on 3rd floor south at the Welland Hospital. A big thank you to niece Mary Phillips of Welland. Cremation has taken place. Friends will be received by the family from 6-9 pm. Thursday (Sept/11/08) and from 10-11 am Friday at the JAMES L. PEDLAR FUNERAL HOME, 1292 Pelham Street, Fonthill, where the memorial service will be conducted in the chapel on Friday September 12, 2008 at 11:00 am. Interment of ashes to take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Welland Hospital Foundation or charity of your choice. Myrtle Lodge #337 A.F. & A.M. will conduct a service at the funeral home Thursday evening at 6:30 pm. Online condolences may be forwarded through www.pedlarfuneralhome.ca A donation in memorial of Mr. Neill is being made to the Welland Hospital Foundation through the Pedlar Funeral Home Lifetime Memories Program. 11233635
