OBITUARY LESLIE JOHN ALEXANDER TURNER 1933-2008 It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden death of Les Turner at the age of seventy-five. Les was the beloved and truly devoted husband and best friend of Lillian Hodges and father of Janet (Ben Dussault) of Venice-en-Quebec, Audra (Todd Gregory) of Colchester, Vermont and Elaine Turner (John Fallon) of Montreal. Les was also the proud grandfather of Megan, Vanessa, Mathieu, Daena and Bradley, and brother to Jean (Frank Grevatt) of Philipsburg and June (Cliff Blackburn) of Pointe-Aux-Trembles. Les Turner proudly dedicated himself in following in his father's foot-steps both personally as a Mason and professionally as a Pressman. He worked alongside many of his friends at the Montreal Star, the Weekend and the Montreal Gazette. He retired in 1994. Viewing will be held on Tuesday, August 19 from 2 to 5 and from 7 to 10 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 20 at 11 a.m. Both viewing and funeral service will be held at Complexe Funeraires des Trembles Hawthorn-Dale Cemetery located at 15005 rue Sherbrooke est, Montreal, Quebec, H1A 3X1.
