McNAMARA, Joe. (Limerick, Ireland). July 29, 2008 (following an accident). Joseph (Joe), Rossvena, Elm Villas, Ennis Road (retd. Garda Siochana). Beloved husband of Josephine, dearest father and great friend of Helen (McGill University & Royal Victoria Hospital), Marie, Stephen, Joe, adored grandad of Jack, Ian, Luke, Lauren, Audrey. Deeply regretted by his brothers, sisters, sons in law (Paul, Ger), daughter in law (Sinead), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews. Sadly missed by his work colleagues at Lee's Solicitors and his many friends. Funeral has taken place in Ireland and the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass will be offered to celebrate the life of Joe McNamara on Friday, August 29 at 9 a.m. at Ascension of our Lord Church, 375, Kitchener Avenue, Westmount.
