OBITUARY JUSSI BRAININ August 11, 1919 - August 22, 2008 Passed away in Oxford, England. Beloved husband of Liesl Kelsen for 68 years. Cherished father of Carole, Kay (Jack) and Danny (Dany). Much loved Opa of Tom, Ben, Joe, Hannah, Jesse, Kira (Iain), Katie and Julia. Loving Great-Opa to Liliana and Imogen. Devoted son of the late Margaret Beck and the late Sigmund Brainin. He was a man of courage and dignity with a keen sense of responsibility. He had lifelong energy and curiosity and an appetite for adventure, most especially when it involved trains and ships. His respect for history was deep and his sense of humour was engaging. An Austrian by birth, British and Canadian by nationality, he was truly a transcontinental gentleman. His love for and pride in his family is a legacy for which we are all grateful. He will be terribly missed, cherished always. Published in the Montreal Gazette on 8/30/2008
