STEACY, Lorne Francis, Retired, District Equipment Supervisor M.T.O - Peacefully in his sleep at Rideaucrest on Friday, October 3, 2008, at the age of 75. Lorne F. Steacy, loving husband of Doris for 34 years. Father of Ralph, Garry (Jo-Anne), Trina and step- father of Cliff Ward (Terry), Janice Shipton (Tim) and Susan Robertson (Rob). Lorne is survived by his thirteen grandchildren and is predeceased by one granddaughter. Dear brother of Wilma Hartley (Ken) and Gordon (Linda). Lorne's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff and volunteers at Rideaucrest and at KGH (Connell 10) for the wonderful care that he received. Resting at the JAMES REID FUNERAL HOME (1900 John Counter Blvd.) on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service in the Chapel on Monday, October 6, 2008 at 11:00 am, followed by cremation. Reverend Chris Walker will officiate. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Society or to the charity of your choice in Lorne's memory.
