ST. JEAN, Cecile (nee Delisle) It is with sadness that our family announces the sudden loss of Cecile on October 18, 2004. Survived by her devoted husband of 61 years, Edouard St. Jean. Cherished mother of Bill (Christine), Carol (Ken), Louise (Greg) and Marc. She will be greatly missed by her grandchildren: Scott, Brad, Judy, Lisa, Craig, Carly, Kevin and great-grandchildren: Nicholas and Laura. She will be fondly remembered by sisters Nellie and Theresa and by her many nieces and nephews. A wartime bride and graduate nurse of Ottawa University, Cecile became a devoted mother to her four children. She thrived on Ed's nomadic military life and they enjoyed many retirement years in Florida. "A mother holds her children's hands for only a moment, but she is in their hearts forever" Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, 580 Eagleson Road, Kanata, Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Funeral Friday to St. Patrick's Church, Fallowfield, for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10:30 a.m. Interment National Military Cemetery at Beechwood.
