Dan MATTHEWS

MATTHEWS, Dan - Passed away on Sunday September 14th, 2008 at St. Michael's hospital in Toronto. Dan was a pioneer in the Canadian ski resort industry, and a teacher and coach to many. He is survived by his mother Edna, daughter LeeAnn, son Richard and Susan Schooley his long time partner. On Saturday September 27th at the Toronto Ski Club, Blue Mountain from 2 to 5 pm, there will be a “Celebration of Dan's Life”. In lieu of flowers donations will be accepted for the Dan Matthews Scholarship Fund for the Ski Area Management Course at Georgian and Selkirk College. 11250201
