DIRKSEN, John J. - (January 11, 1941 - October 3, 2008) - It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of the much loved husband of Joan and dear father of Greg (Susan), Shawn (Thalia) and Mark (Claudine). Adored grandfather of Rebecca, Elizabeth, Jason and Mackenzie. He will also be lovingly remembered by his sister Hilde (Vic), brother Vic (Holly) and special friend and brother in law of Ted and Anita, as well as Betty and Brian, Dennis and Erika and other close relatives and friends, too many to list. The family will receive friends at the VINELAND CHAPEL of the TALLMAN FUNERAL HOMES, 3277 King St. on Monday, October 6th from 2-4 and 7-8:30 p.m. Interment at Vineland Cemetery, and prior to the Memorial Service to be held in the Tallman Chapel October 7th at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Mennonite Central Committee or World Vision would be appreciated by the family. 11267038
