Sidney Santiago HOGLO

HOGLO, Sidney Santiago It is with great love and profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Sidney Santiago Hoglo in a tragic accident on Monday, September 15, 2008 at the age of 26 years. He is survived by his mother Susana Al-Maktob (Calgary); his father Brett (USA); his children, Gabriel and Maya; his brothers Kevin and Royce; his sisters, Sarai and Carmen; his grandparents Alicia and Rodrigo Aparicio (Honduras) and Ora (Calgary); his aunt; his cousins; and his nephews. Sidney was predeceased by his grandfather John Hoglo and his uncle Rodrigo. Sidney loved life, was outgoing, and made friends wherever he went. He was a huge Flames fan. Sidney especially loved and leaves behind his many, many close friends; his godmother Martha Aldama (Vancouver); and his dogs Macho and Chica. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church (2519 Edmonton Trail N.E.) on Tuesday, September 23, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. with a Visitation prior to Mass.
